Почему-то считается, что в английском нет местоимения "вы", только "ты" - you. Так вот, с точностью до наоборот. You - это "вы" (you are, not you is). А "ты" - это thou, считается устаревшим и не употребляется. Хотя у Шекспира сплошь и рядом.
Исключение - Библия и прочие религиозные тексты, где Thou (с заглавной буквы) на каждом шагу. Полностью соответствует русскому "Ты" с заглавной же буквы, как обращение к высшей сущности ("да светится имя Твое", etc).

Well, it would not be a problem if they were twins or clones, like Lapis Lazuli and Lorelei Lee Long. But for Iolanta and Lusinda there may be some issues.
