The pleasure was mine :-) Unfortunately people are easy to say something bad, negative or critical to each other, rather then good things (i.e. praise, gratitude e.t.c). I try to fight this state of affairs and not to hide such things when people really deserve to be rewarded.

We had fish called "скумбрия" (чтобы не мучать вас) every single evening when we are
in our regiment. In our other location we had a different ration.

regarding "fish big enough" the biggest one we ate was a blue shark we caught

I continue studying English. The homework was to write a story about any beauties of nature. Beauties of nature, hell! Excruciating heat. There isn’t a breath of wind. I’m in a city among of a incandescent concrete. Asphalt is melting under the hot sun. My old friend is whining to me by phone about his plane was overloaded as always and each time his plane had been accelerating unwillingly while taking off. There’s old “song” each time. Who is able to write about any beauties of nature in such weather? I have to do it because my English course had paid in advance. (:
So what to write? I ought to retrieve any beautiful view the nature from my mind.
It would be well to listen to some calm music to call up some pleasant associations regarding nature. Have you ever heard duduk sounds? Well, that wooden piping-stem which made from apricot wood... so…clicked on the play button, melody began to sound and…my memory had given out a train of the pretty pictures immediately. You do imagine a picture… There are soft pillows straggling on a wooden trestle-bed that placed next to river. A vine was twining about a light wooden framework set above the trestle-bed to create a shadow. Its large leaves and bright green curls of a young leaf-tendril were created a fanciful oriental ornamental pattern. Bunches of mature grapes were hanging down above the pillows…A weeping willow is growing at very bank edge of a calm river. The branches are bowing down to water. As though a beautiful young girl has thrown sideward the locks of her gorgeous long hair thus the willow's branches are lying on the water drifting down by stream. Enormous bulks of the mountains are raised afar. Their snow-covered peaks ware glared with diamonds. In front of them are motley patches of foothills slightly clouded by haze. At those foothills, at grasslands that covered of lush grass, you can meet some shepherd with his flock of curly sheep…
Such a picture has been excited in my imagination by the sounds of duduk. Just listen!
