1) Using ___ pry off decorative cap from tap handle.
2) The handle is attached to the stem (шпиндель) by a setscrew with hexagonal socket (шестигранное гнездо). Release this setscrew using ___.
3) To remove the tap, clamp flat sides of the tap body with ___ and rotate CCW (против часовой стрелки).
4) Or, if the tap body has cylindrical shape, unscrew it using ___.
5) Lightly hit the removed tap with the ___ to break off any hard water residue (минеральный налет). Swipe internal parts and threads with ___ .
6) Inspect valve seat (седло клапана) area with ___ and remove any derbies using ___.

Revision of the Past Tense.
"The sink"

Put the following verbs in the Past tense where appropriate:

to disconnect, to take, to go, to recommend, to find, to come, to have, to replace, to fit

1.I.... the sink waste, .... the part out and.... to 4 different places, Plumers' Merchants with only stainless steel replacement being available.
2.In one of the shops I was.... to go to B&Q where I.... the part I was looking for.
3. I .... home, ....to fit the replacemnt part.
4.I .... it and it ... perfectly, being the exact part.
5.I am waiting for the jointing compound to set.

Hopefully I could use the sink in a few hours)))

We had an interesting discussion with collegues today from English Department re: new words or rather new meanings of familiar words.
Bubbly - it means a talkative person, the one with an outgoing personality, chatty.
However, it also might mean quite a chunky (fat) person, chabby )))

Thanks, NN! It's amusing to look at yourself by ATC's eyes. I'd tried harder if I knew I was being recorded :-) My comment: It's quite charging to taxi from stand 7 to RW 36L. There is a very little time to execute a taxi cheklist and to copy new ATIS information which changes at 30 minutes (exactly at the time of taxing). But no complains, it's real life as it is. There is only one desire. We would be grateful if ATC's gave us ATC clearance (SID and squawk) before taxing. For example with starting up clearance. Shall we do a special request for ATC clearance before starting up (as we do at Domodedovo for example)?

Actually I wasn't PIC at time of recording. I'm f/o (co-pilot) and I was a pilot-flying (PF) on the way to Nizhny. Communication is a duty of PNF (or pilot-monitoring as they say).

Today we celebrate fathers' day in the UK, as it is celebrated round the world (USA, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, India, Ireland, South Africa) on the third Sunday of June. People celebrate the occasion by honoring their father and expressing affection for them by presenting popular gifts like cards, flowers, chocolates and neckties. Little children often give handmade gifts to their dad.

I beg your pardon for leaving your posts without reply. There is a certain excuse of course, but still, I feel guilty towards you both. In short – too much work and significantly lesser spare time. It is a result of too “wise” decisions of our Corporation top managers to add working hours to ATCs, reducing hours to recover. So, work and sleep are the prevailing two now.

At Strigino the ATCs got sure in speaking English phraseology about 10 years. Don’t know on that as to other airports. The leaders, of course, have always been and still remain Moscow’s ATCs. I think, you know it better than I do. )))
