Here are some jokes to give us all some Christmas Cheer!
Three men died on Christmas Eve and were met by Saint Peter at the pearly gates.
"In honor of this holy season, " Saint Peter said, "You must each possess something that symbolizes Christmas to get into heaven."
The first man fumbled through his pockets and pulled out a lighter. He flicked it on. "It represents a candle, " he said. "You may pass through the pearly gates, " Saint Peter said.
The second man reached into his pocket and pulled out a set of keys. He shook them and said, "They're bells." Saint Peter said, "You may pass through the pearly gates."
The third man started searching desperately through his pockets and finally pulled out a pair of women's glasses.
St. Peter looked at the man with a raised eyebrow and asked, "And just what do those symbolize?"
The man replied, "They're Carol's."

Thanks a lot on updating us re: the latest weather surprises in Moscow. I would have thought that there are more than just one monumentS in the capital city of Russia :-)))
Anyway, we are all human beings, and monuments are just monuments and they can't speak for themselves.
Last time when I saw fluffy and stunningly beautiful white snow in Moscow was in December 2004. It was also bitterly cold though...
Hope that Moscovites and children in particular will benefit from generous snowfalls. Wouldn's wish that for those who are in the position to sort the consequences out!... and those who inevitably could be affected, while travelling/flying/maintaining/servicing/repairing/cleaning/catering....
I am lucky enough to enjoy the festive season at home as we are on holiday now for 2 weeks! Everybody feels relaxed and busy at the same time, as there are only 2 days left before Christmas dinner with turkey and crackers!!!
